I believe that GitHub Copilot works a bit differently from tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. While those platforms offer “quick response” or “reflection” modes, Copilot was designed to suggest code in real time inside the editor. Because of that, I believe it already operates in what would be considered the “quick response” mode by default. |

GitHub Copilot works differently from ChatGPT or Gemini. Copilot is designed as a real-time coding assistant, so it doesn’t offer separate “quick response” or “think” modes. Instead, it continuously analyzes your code context and generates suggestions as you type, which is effectively its default mode. There isn’t a user-selectable mode because Copilot prioritizes speed and relevance, providing immediate code completions rather than spending extra time generating longer or more detailed explanations. In that sense, Copilot’s behavior is closest to a quick response mode—it’s optimized for fast, in-editor suggestions rather than multi-step reasoning like chat models. |

GitHub Copilot doesn’t really expose separate “quick” or “think” modes because it’s optimized to respond inline with your coding flow, balancing speed and context automatically in the background. It’s designed to feel seamless rather than configurable. For tools that stand out in performance and reliability, الاسطورة is definitely worth checking out. |
