Mitchell Hashimoto joins Open Source Friday to demo vouch, a trust management system for open source. vouch makes trust explicit in a world where AI can generate lots of plausible but low quality contributions. We're pausing the rollout of GPT-5.3-Codex as we focus on our platform reliability. We'll be sure to share when it is rolling out again.
📣 OpenAI's GPT-5.3-Codex is now generally available and rolling out in GitHub Copilot. Early testing shows ➡️ It reaches new high scores on benchmarks we use to evaluate coding, agentic, and real-world capabilities ➡️ 25% faster performance than GPT-5.2-Codex on agentic coding tasks ➡️ Improved reasoning and execution in complex workflows Try it out in Visual Studio Code or Copilot CLI. https://lnkd.in/gGcn6rDr

At GitHub, we’re committed to celebrating and recognizing outstanding advancements in accessibility across open source projects, products, and communities. These achievements raise the bar, set new standards, and inspire even more inclusive development - serving as a model for the entire accessibility community. We plan to create a series of short videos to showcase a select number of these projects, sharing their stories and successes with the broader community. The GitHub Accessibility team will review the nominations and select projects that demonstrate impactful and inspiring accessibility advancements. Help us highlight these meaningful contributions: use this form to nominate an “Accessibility Spotlight”! https://lnkd.in/eD6RpiZD #OpenSource #Accessibility

Seeing "the sausage being made" isn't just good for users, it's better for developers too. "It is immensely more satisfying to see the engagement of the community... every day," says Anders Hejlsberg. When you build in the open, you get daily validation that you're solving real problems. https://lnkd.in/gZx5bq2e
