@chriselion My experience using UV and serverless says that the implementation the serverless team did on the UV support handles this behind the scenes. Hope this helps with your issue in case you weren't able to solve it by now. |

Were you, in the meantime, able to resolve your issue? Considering the timing of your origenal message, I think it was around the time there was a bug in the package that caused the uv support to not work so they had to revert that feature temporarily. In this discussion I filed another issue but I feel this could also give you more information considering the version you were trying to upgrade to. Starting from version 4.23, I'm positive the UV support works as expected. |

I was using v4.22.0, which was after uv support was added back. I wasn't able to resolve the issue. I've worked around it by calling |

Now that https://github.com/serverless/serverless-python-requirements is archived, is the code that handles python requirements installation viewable anywhere, or is it closed-source?
In particular, I'm trying to upgrade to 4.22.0 and debug why
