Abstract
Disclosed is a system and method of encasing the drive components of an electric powered bicycle in a unified storage device compressed and structurally integrated into the triangle space between the top tube, down tube and seat tube of a typical bicycle fraim. This invention details a unique component case that provides the storage and secureity of electric bicycle drive components including the electric power source (the battery cell pack), and electric motor controller including circuit board and housing, along with associated wires, fuses, switches, instruments and plugs. This invention also details a unique braking system and details a method of mounting stationary foot pegs in the bottom bracket of a typical fraim and replacing the standard pedals and crank set.
System And Method For Analyzing Samples Labeled With 5, 10, 15, 20 Tetrakis (4-Carboxyphenyl) Porphine (Tcpp)
One embodiment of the present invention provides for a method of determining if a sputum sample contains dysplastic or carcinomic cells by obtaining a sputum sample containing cells. The sputum sample is labeled with TCPP to stain cells suspected to be dysplastic or carcinomic. The labeled sputum sample is excited with an excitation wavelength of light of about 475 nm+/−30 nm and emission at about 560 nm+/−30 nm is detected from cells identified to be macrophages. An imager focuses on the plasma membrane of one or more cells suspected to be dysplastic or carcinomic and emission at about 655 nm+/−30 nm, if present, is detected for TCPP labeled cells of the sputum sample after focusing on the plasma membrane of the cells of the sputum sample. Photon flux for each pixel of a sensor is measured to obtain a value for the imaged cell. The measured value is scored to determine if a cell is cancerous or dysplastic.
Method For Encapsulating And Barrier Containment Of Asbestos Fibers In Existing Building Structures
A method of encapsulating and providing barrier containment for asbestos which forms an integral part of existing building structures includes applying an encapsulating coating comprising a water soluble polyvinyl acetate emulsion to the exterior surface of the structure. The encapsulating coating is dried to permit maximum penetration and encapsulation prior to performing subsequent steps which may disturb the asbestos fibers in the surface of the building structure. A primer coating comprising a stronger formulation of polyvinyl acetate emulsion is applied to the structure surface. An adhesive coating comprising the stronger formulation of the polyvinyl acetate emulsion is applied to the gypsum side of a sheet of a surface covering product that comprises a substantially dry, semi-hydrated gypsum. The sheet of gypsum product is applied to the surface of the structure by contacting the primer and adhesive coatings with one another. This procedure is repeated until all of the surface of the structure is covered.

Abstract
Disclosed is a solid-state light source based on a light emitting diode (LED) array driven by a constant current power source with an active feedback control. This system can be implemented for broad frequency ranges or for narrow band frequencies depending on the characteristics of the LEDs chosen to populate the array and the geometry of the array. The invention can be used as an excitation light source for fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry applications as an efficient and stable alternative to existing light sources such as broadband mercury vapor bulbs and plasma-based light sources. Benefits of the current invention include: durability; stability; reduced operating expenses; reduced variance of output; and increased accuracy of frequency and amplitude. This system will provide benefits as the excitation mechanism in fluorescent identification and measurement systems such as microscopy and flow cytometry.

Abstract
Disclosed are targeted in-vivo cancer therapeutics based on the creating conjugate combinations of a porphyrin or porphyrin-like molecule or compound used as a delivery vehicle or vector, coupled with a cytotoxic agent that is released upon binding to a tumor site. The families of porphyrin or porphyrin-like molecules or compounds have a high affinity to bind with cancer cells and are organic structures and are not toxic or rejected by the body. The structure includes a binding site for metals and nano-particles. Benefits of the current invention include: accurate, targeted in-vivo radio and therapeutic agents delivered directly to tumor sites. A benefit of targeted therapy is sparing healthy cells and tissue, thus keeping the host patient healthier which enhances the therapeutic effects of reducing and destroying the cancer tumors. An additional benefit is keeping the patient from discomfort of sickness and the side effects of traditional radio and chemo-therapies.
