Most breaking changes should be against beta and it would be good to have the context of whether we deviated from beta before checking against stable.

What does this PR try to resolve?
In a recent bump-check failure, it was hard to see how the change was relevant. The hope is that grouping the lines will filter the data down and provide enough context to make this easier
